Those aren't the ones I was referring to... Although there are few that try that. But, some make builds from smiting to either gain energy or deal back damage.

I'd say that getting spiked and killed is alot more annoying than a Warrior trying to do a Monks job. Also, [[Signet of Judgment] is bad. Smiting Wars are bad... actually, Smiting is probably just bad in general. Like every other War that tries to play as another profession, they fail. If you want to kill things, run an Necro/Ele/etc, if you want to be annoying as hell, play a Mes, if you want to support, play a Para/Rit/etc. Your job to to rip stuff apart, don't forgrt that.

They still require investment, both in attribute points, skill slots, and energy; all of which can be put to better use.

I used to play as a Smiter Warrior, Bane Signet, Banish, Strength of Honor were regular features to my build.
Then I realised it was crap.
Surprisingly I've never been a fan of mending, I had my time where I'd use Orison of Healing and Healing Breeze, but never Mending. These people give us super uber godmode aggroing warriors a bad name

Sometimes I like teaming with a random wammo just to watch them get emasculated. Quite a few I've teamed with get outright hostile and/or quit the team immediately after they die. It's comedy gold!
And yeah, wammo is a mentality, not just a W/Mo (though that does definitely help). I've been on teams with plenty of wammos with other secondaries, and even caster and assassin wammos.
Playing with a good W/Mo is good times. Playing with a wammo is soul-sucking.

What? no love for [skill]dolyak's signet[/skill] , lol?
And wammos trying to tank in PvP are laughable. You just shrug and go around their lame DPS they sacrificed to try tanking. The best defense is a good offense, right? If you give yourself to pure damage and attack the squishies, you are doing your job. If your monks can't keep up, either you are over-extending, or they are bad.
If you want to tank in PvE, you can do it easy and give damage. It's called Godmode. You give the rest of the team +100 armor, making you the juiciest low-armor target, and can unleash great damage without going outside your primary.
